Coriander-Mint Chutney

A tasty chutney for sandwiches!

Chutney made out of coriander leaves, or cilantro, is a very popular dip for not only sandwiches, but all street foods. It brings a unique taste and flavor to the dish and can also be a way to marinate meats.

Ingredients:

  • 2 bunches of coriander leaves (cilantro)

  • 2 sprigs of mint leaves

  • 2 green chilis

  • 1 inch ginger piece

  • 1 whole lemon, juiced

  • a pinch of black salt (optional)

  • 1 tbsp sev

  • salt to taste


Method:

  1. Blend all of the ingredients into a smooth paste, adding a couple of ice cubes and a little water to make chutney consistency.

  2. Enjoy!
